Pelican Hotel is a city hotel located just 20 meters from the central square of Fira, the capital of Santorini. This is one of the few hotels operating all year round with full staff and 24-hours reception desk.

Costa Marina Villas is family-run hotel located in Fira only 200 meters from the central square that operates all year round. Most of the rooms face the sea of the eastern side of Santorini. Emphasis has been given to the Cycladic architecture, while all modern facilities are provided. Caldera is the terrestrial cavity formed when a part of a volcanic cone collapses or when its inner walls are gradually corroded. A giant central lagoon, more or less rectangular, and measuring about 12 km by 7 km , is surrounded by 300 m high steep cliffs on three sides.

Winter hotels in Santorini

For those who live in Santorini during the winter months, January and February may be the most “quiet” months of the year. However, Santorini still offers a lot to the visitor; first of all, a lot of sunshine: All the photos you see at professional photo albums have been taken during winter to take advantage of the much desired smooth and gentle light. In general, the weather conditions are nice with north winds, mild temperatures and a few rains.
